About

Creativity is self-care...

I help overwhelmed parents and caregivers in neurodivergent families exhale, regroup, and remember that they are more than the crises they’re managing. Whether you are parenting a neurodivergent child, caring for a loved one with complex needs, or navigating your own late-identified neurodivergence, our work together creates space where you do not have to translate or shrink yourself to be understood. Who I Work With I support adult parents and caregivers who are: • Navigating life with neurodivergent children, teens, or partners and feeling burned out, guilty, or constantly “on.” • Neurodivergent themselves and trying to hold everyone else together while quietly masking their own needs. • Carrying layers of stress, grief, and resentment that are hard to say out loud without fear of judgment. You may be tired of advice that ignores your reality, professionals who only focus on the child, or systems that expect you to endlessly advocate without support for you as a human being. How I Work My practice blends talk therapy with other creative approaches so you can process what’s happening without always needing “the right words.” We use evidence-based techniques and creative interventions to help you: explore your caregiving roles, release built-up tension, and experiment with new responses in a safe space. Sessions are trauma-informed, collaborative, and paced to your nervous system—not to anyone else’s expectations. You do need curiosity and a willingness to explore. About Me I am a licensed clinical mental health counseling associate and provisionally registered drama therapist who came to this work through a long-standing career in theatre and a deep belief in the healing power of creative expression. My background includes advanced training in theater arts and acting, a master’s degree in mental health counseling, and ongoing training in the SoulWork Method, which centers embodied, community-rooted healing. As someone who has been a client many times myself, I understand how vulnerable it is to reach out and how meaningful it is to feel truly witnessed, especially when your life does not fit the “typical” mold.
